World of Wines (WOW) 2011! Recap

On Saturday March 5th & Sunday March 6th, 2011 Doffo proudly participated in the 2011 World of Wines sponsored  by the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association. We served Argentine style tapas and offered a special pouring of our Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah that we will be bottling on the 14th. Part of the event was a recycled wine cork art contest to kick off the valley's cork recycling program. To honor our heritage we created a replica of The Obelisk of Buenos Aires in Argentina made from recycled Doffo wine corks. We also took photos of our guests in front of our cork sculpture and we are pleased to share them with you on our Facebook and photo gallery page. A special thank you to everyone who attended the event and visited Doffo.

Doffo hosted our first SPETTACOLARE DI PIZZA wine club event.

We wanted to offer our wine club family an Italian way to enjoy woodfired pizzas cooked in our wood burning oven. Starting with simple cheese we progressed to more complex and exciting flavor combinations. Great pizza, great wine and fabulous acoustic guitar music. Like several of our wine club events, this event was sold as soon as it was announced. A great time was had by all and we will certainly be doing this event again soon.
